Microphone Access: We request microphone permission only for the voice search and speech-to-text features within the app. Audio is processed locally and is not recorded or transmitted to our servers.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics such as reading progress, bookmarks, and app preferences to improve your experience.
Device Information: We collect basic device identifiers for authentication and sync purposes.
We use the collected information to provide and improve our services, including Quran reading, prayer times, Qibla direction, hadith access, AI-powered Q&A, and syncing your data across devices.
Most of your data (bookmarks, reading progress, preferences) is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. When you create an account, certain data is synced to our secure servers to enable cross-device access. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmissions.
We integrate with the following third-party services:
Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for authentication; AlQuran Cloud, Quran.com, and Aladhan APIs for Quran text, translations, and prayer time data. These services have their own privacy policies.
