1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MuslimStack ("the App", "our Service"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you may not use our Service. Users under 13 must have parental consent.

2. Description of Service

MuslimStack is an Islamic companion application providing:

• Quran text, translations, audio recitation, and tafsir
• Prayer times, Qibla direction, and Adhan notifications
• Duas and Islamic supplications
• AI-powered Islamic Q&A (powered by large language models)
• Hifz tracker, Zakat calculator, Islamic calendar, and other tools
• A developer REST API for building Islamic applications

3. User Accounts

You may use core features without an account. To access cloud sync and personalized features, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with Islamic ethics. You must not:

• Spread misinformation contradicting established Islamic scholarship
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Use automated tools or bots to exceed your API quota
• Share, resell, or redistribute API credentials
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Violate the privacy or rights of other users

5. AI-Powered Features

Our AI assistant is grounded in the Quran and Sunnah, but AI-generated content has limitations. AI responses are informational and should not replace consultation with qualified Islamic scholars for important religious decisions (fatwas). You use AI content at your own responsibility.

6. Intellectual Property

The MuslimStack app, logo, branding, code, and original content are property of NextGenBeing, protected by copyright. Quran text, hadiths, and other religious content are used under open licenses or public domain.

7. Developer API

API access is subject to rate limits and fair use policies. Developers must not build products that misrepresent Islamic teachings. We may revoke API access for violations.

8. Privacy

Use of MuslimStack is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described there.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Prayer time calculations will be perfectly accurate for all locations
• AI responses are free from errors

10. Limitation of Liability

NextGenBeing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim (zero for free users).

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and various Quran/prayer time data providers, governed by their own terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before formal legal proceedings.
